Karen Dionne, author of The Marsh King’s Daughter, will appear at the Presque Isle Library on Tuesday, May 29th  Refreshments at 5:30 PM, Presentation at 6 p.m.

Karen Dionne is the author of THE FREEZING, BOILING POINT, THE KILLING: UNCOMMON DENOMINATOR and most recently she is the USA Today and #1 internationally bestselling author of the award-winning psychological suspense novel THE MARSH KING’S DAUGHTER, published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons in the US and in 25 other countries. Karen has been active in the writing community for over twenty years. She co-founded of the online writer’s community Backspace and organized the Backspace Writers Conferences in New York and the Salt Cay Writers Retreat held on a private island in the Bahamas. She is a member of the International Thriller Writers, where she served on the board of directors as Vice President, Technology. Karen has been honored by the Michigan Humanities Council as a Humanities Scholar and has written about the publishing industry from an author’s perspective for AOL’s DailyFinance, and blogged at The Huffington Post. Other articles and essays have been published in Writer’s Digest MagazineRT Book ReviewsGuide to Literary Agents, and Handbook of Novel Writing.
